Ketevan Studio
At Ketevan Studio, small mixed media sculptures are transformed into decorative jewellery accessories and objects, drawing inspiration from the forms of Georgian culture, particularly the ancient Georgian alphabet, which boasts a documented history of over one and a half millennia. This entire process serves as a symbolic act of archaeological excavation, an allegory for a biographical journey aimed at reconnecting with one's roots. These pieces, once integral to communication and expression, now symbolise distance and the unknown.
Each piece is meticulously handcrafted and unique, made from high-temperature clay and finished with glaze, embodying a fusion of historical reverence and contemporary artistry.
